At The Doghouse, we ensure that every dog enjoys a tailored grooming experience in our modern, purpose-designed salon.
We offer a variety of grooming services and treatments to best maintain your dog’s coat and well-being. We will always carry out a full initial consultation with you to ensure we understand your dog and their needs.
Every groom includes a thorough pre-groom assessment where we examine your dog’s skin and coat looking for any parasites, mats, lumps or bumps and check inside the ears, mouth and eyes and around the hygiene area. Any issues will be discussed with you prior to the groom commencing.
Prices are determined by the size, breed and temperament of your dog, as well as the condition of their coat. We will discuss all of this in your initial consultation and advise you which treatment will be best suited to your dog so that there are no surprises.
:: Full Groom Long Haired
Includes pre-groom, bath, brush and blow dry, nail clip, hygiene trim, clipping and/or scissoring (depending on your dog’s coat type), face tidy, ear clean and a paw tidy.
:: Full Groom Short Haired
This service includes a bath, brush and blow dry, nail clip, ear clean and paw tidy.
:: Express Groom
Perfect for long haired breeds in between full grooms, especially if you struggle to keep on top of your dog’s coat. Includes pre-groom, bath, brush and blow dry, paw tidy, nail clip, face tidy, ear clean and a hygiene trim (no body styling).
:: Bath, Brush and Blow dry
For long or short haired dogs in between grooms. If you own a breed that sheds a lot, this treatment will help remove loose and dead hair, producing a noticeable reduction in shedding.
:: Puppy Groom
An introductory groom just for puppies (from 3 months old), designed to help your puppy remain comfortable, relaxed and calm when visiting us.
Includes a bath, brush and blow dry, hygiene trim, paw and face tidy and a nail clip. And lots of cuddles of course!
:: Mini Service: De-shed
We can use specialist de-shedding products and tools on dogs that shed excessively so that they leave their loose hair in our salon rather than over your carpets!
:: Mini Service: Nail Clip
Clipping nails is an important routine to get your dog into from a young age as overgrown nails can cause injury, infections and pain.

:: Tick Removal
Tick infestations are usually seasonal, between March to August and can infect your dog with Lyme disease if left untreated or if the tick has been removed incorrectly.
:: Hygiene Trim
Hygiene trims are useful in between grooms to remove any unwanted hair around the genital and bottom area and behind the legs to prevent matting.
:: Paw Tidy
Clipping hair from the pads can prevent matting and decrease the chances of mud or anything else being brought in from the outdoors.
